Travelling
Booked a trip tonight for my friend Josh and I to head to the Mayan Riveria in February. Its not even all that cold here yet (for Canada at least) and I already can’t wait to escape for the sun filled beaches of Mexico.
We’re staying at a place called the Aventura Spa Palace…sounds fancy no?
On a side-note, if your thinking of an all-inclusive resort package…check out expedia.ca…they have a cool tool there that searches a bunch of the vacation providers. It saved me a bunch of coin by checking with them.

True Blood
Has anyone else caught episodes of the HBO show True Blood? I’m pretty much obsessed with this show. I’m not usually into the whole Vampire thing, but this is the best thing to come along on TV since Dexter. Its unusual, its funny, and best of all the show seems to be filled with super hot guys.
The guy who plays Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten) is fucking hot. That’s a boy I’d love to fuck (yep, the cats out of the bag…I’m a top). Now, don’t get me wrong, hot guys don’t necessarily make a boring show interesting to me. But it doesn’t hurt either.
If you get the chance, check it out…it rocks.

Michael Jackson, Jon & Kate, and Other Celebrity Obsessions
Death, divorces and destruction…oh my! I don’t watch alot of tv. Between football games, practices, working out and school…who has the time really? But lately, anytime I turn on the tv all I hear about is Michael Jackson this…Jon & Kate this…
Yesterday there was a special on ET showing Michael Jackson’s mansion, and they spent extra time taking viewers on a tour of the room where Michael most likely died. Doesn’t this seem a little morbid to everyone? Doesn’t anyone feel bad for the Jackson family? I mean they lost a brother and a son, and now the rest of the world is “mourning” with them by demanding every little detail about his life, and his death. I don’t know if you’ve ever lost anyone, but when I lost my dad my family wasn’t in the mood for 24×7 media coverage.
Then there’s this Jon & Kate mess. To be honest, I didn’t know who they were before a week ago. Flipping through channels lately you can’t help but pick up some information about these two. Apparently, they have some sort of reality tv show, and theres tonnes of kids involved. Now they are getting a divorce. Once again…why is society so fascinated with their misforune that its on every channel?
I don’t know about all of you, but I’d rather watch a tv show about hot muscular men and the boys who love em than watch a show about some dead dude and a straight couple with a marraige that is ending. Maybe that’s just me…
Well I’m sure there was a point in there somewhere. Enough deep thought for me today…I’m meeting a friend for lunch. Mmmmm…Thai food.
My first post
Well here we are…a nice blank blog ahead of me. The pressure is on. The whole world waiting to hang off my every word…or not.
Who am I to think that any one on this world wide internet would be the least bit interested in what I have to say? To be honest, I have no idea what I’m going to write about in this blog. I’m not the best with plans you see. I have some friends who have it all planned out – what they’ll eat for breakfast, what route they’ll take to school, how many beers they’ll drink before passing out. You know…all the important stuff in the life!
I’m not really one of those people…I stumble out of bed and grab the first thing I see, I usually run to school only to just miss my first class…and drinking till I pass out is prohibitively expensive. But I digress…
I guess this post is about saying hello. I’m sure no one is listening yet, but I’m willing to keep writing…patiently waiting for the day when someone shows up. When you do show up…be nice…I’m not a professional writer and I’m not entirely sure I’m any good at this whole stringing together words thing.
